However, there are days when you don’t enjoy the playlists Spotify makes. This is where the app’s queuing system comes in handy. You can queue up days’ worth of your favorite song or clear your queue to revamp the playlist.
To clear the Spotify queue on your iPhone, tap on the current song to open it on full screen. At the bottom right, you’ll see a “Queue” button. Tap on that and then select “Clear” on the screen’s right side.

How To Clear Queue on Spotify
Spotify allows you to clear all the songs in the queue or remove selected tunes. To see the lineup on your iPhone, you need to log in to your Spotify account from a laptop.

How To Clear Individual songs From the Queue
If you’ve chosen any playlist at random and have hit the play button, it won’t be possible to completely clear the queue without playing a different playlist or stopping it.
However, you can still clear individual songs from the queue. Follow the steps below.
- Launch the Spotify iPhone app and make sure you’re logged into the Spotify web player.
- On your iPhone, play a song if you don’t already have one playing.
- Tap on the “now playing” bar at the bottom of the screen to open the full-screen music player.
- Tap the Queue icon at the bottom right.
- Check the radio button (circle icon on the left of each song) of all the songs you want to remove from the queue.
- Select “Remove” on the screen’s bottom-left.
If you follow the steps above to remove a song from a playlist, Spotify will skip it, but it won’t delete the music from your playlist. It’ll still be present, and Spotify will add it to the queue the next time you play the same playlist.

If you manually created a queue of your favorite Spotify songs, you could clear it entirely. Here’s how.
- Follow steps 1-4 as mentioned above.
- Tap on “Clear Queue” next to “Next In Queue“.
